For its 10th edition, on November 2013, the
Hua Hin Automobile Concours counted no
less than 5 DS in its 45 participating classic
cars, for a nice drive to, around and from
Hua Hin, the "royal" resort town South-West
of Bangkok.

The event, taking place over 3 days, is
organized by the Centara Grand Hotel,
an ancient and somptuous hotel in Hua
Hin, with the support of the Classic Car
Association of Thailand and the Grand
Prix Group, publisher of several car
magazines and organizer of one of
Thailand's motor shows. It gathers a
maximum of 45 cars, at least 30 years
old, for a cool week-end in this beach-
side city, situated about 200 km from
Bangkok.

Arrival in downtown Hua Hin. The schedule included a
parade in the city, and several "CSR" (Corporate Social
Responsibility) events, such as planting trees,
releasing fish and donating bicycles to local schools'
children. When the cars were parked in front of the
hotel's entrance, many tourists, mostly foreigners,
came to have a closer look at the cars.
According to Kh Sayam Sethaputra,
one of the organizers, there is no plan to
expand this event; he prefers to focus on
the charity events, which he says are the
most important aspect.
Update ! (December
2014): Kh Vat's green
DSuper 5 won the
"Press Choice" award
