This DS, belonging to a classic car shop owner somewhere in Malaysia, comes from
Cyprus, where it seems it got its very unusual paint and openings on the bonnet. The
owner says he has another one in store, currently under restoration for a friend. Let's
just hope he will refrain himself from making such little holes everywhere.
Update ! (March 2014) In February 2014, I dropped by and met with James D'Cruz,
owner of this garage in Kuala Lumpur, Datford Auto, specialized in classic cars. James
is a collector himself, with a special taste for French and other "rare" cars. The DS was still
there, waiting for a full restoration.
James has already overhauled the engine of this 1973 DSuper, and brought parts from
Europe for eventual body and interior restoration.
Another DS is sleeping in one of James' warehouses: a 1971 DSuper, it belongs to one of
his friends, and has not been driven in many years (photos below).
